Hotel St. Josef

Zimmerrenovation im Hotel St. Josef in Zürich. Der neue Charakter der Hotelzimmer strahlt eine warme, vertraute und reine Atmosphäre aus. Als Gast sollte man auch im Zimmer den Geist des Zürcher Niederdorfs spüren und eine modern interpretierte Stadtwohnung erleben. Der helle Parkettboden, die filigranen Eichenmöbel und die eleganten Pastellfarben zeichnen die neue Gestaltung aus.

Die wichtigsten Gestaltungselemente basieren auf der Symbolik vom Heiligen Josef, den Zimmermann/Schreiner und den Ziehvater Jesu. Die ikonographische Attribute des Heiligen sind zu einem das Winkelmass, als Symbol seines Berufes und zu anderem die weisse Lilie, ein Symbol seines Glaubens an die Keuschheit Marias.

Von dieser Geschichte inspiriert wurden im Hotel St.Josef die handwerkliche Bearbeitung des Holzes, in Form der spezial angefertigten Möbel und die feinen, frischen Farben der Lilie zelebriert.

Die Zimmer des denkmalgeschützten Gebäudeensemble erhalten neu individuell regulierbare Kühl-Klimageräte.
 

Room renovation at Hotel St. Josef in Zurich. The new character of the hotel rooms radiates a warm, familiar and pure atmosphere. As a guest, one should also feel the spirit of Zurich's Niederdorf in the room and experience a modernly interpreted city apartment. The light parquet floor, the delicate oak furniture and the elegant pastel colors characterize the new design.

The main design elements are based on the symbolism of St. Joseph, the carpenter/joiner and the foster father of Jesus. The iconographic attributes of the saint are on the one hand the square measure, symbol of his profession, and on the other hand the white lily, symbol of his faith in the chastity of Mary.

Inspired by this story, the Hotel St. Joseph celebrates the craftsmanship of the wood, in the form of custom-made furniture and the fine, fresh colors of the lily. 

The rooms of the listed building ensemble are newly equipped with individually adjustable cooling and air conditioning units.
