Swissôtel DesignLab – Arvenstübli

Das DesignLab, in Form eines neu interpretierten “Arvenstüblis”, spiegelt die Designphilosophie der Swissôtel-Kette wider und repräsentiert zugleich moderne Swissness. Der neue, holzgetäferte Bereich dient sowohl als Meeting- und Präsentationsraum für die Mitarbeiter, wie auch als Wartebereich für die Gäste. Die Möbel sind mit Ornamenten versehen welche an das traditionelle Schweizer Sgraffito angelehnt und noch heute an Hausfassaden vieler Gebäude in Graubünden zu finden sind.

The DesignLab, in the form of a newly interpreted Swiss “Arvenstübli”, reflects the design philosophy of the international hotel chain Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, while also providing a symbol and showcase for a modern sense of “Swissness”. The new, wood-paneled area acts as both a meeting / presentation space for staff and as a waiting area for guests. The ornamentation on the furnishings is based on the traditional Swiss “sgraffito” wall decoration that can still see on the facades of houses in many areas of the canton of Graubünden.
